All Printing Resources has announced a technical partnership with press manufacturer Nuova Gidue, the recent winner of The Award for Innovation at The Label Industry Global Awards 2014. This relationship includes the installation of Gidue’s M5 UV flexo press at APR’s Technical Center located in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, USA.

The M5 flexo press features a fully-automated workflow, setup, and running of the press to achieve “unsurpassed process consistency, efficiency, and cost reductions,” the company says. “This press, when combined with state-of-the-art expanded-gamut technology, allows flexo to compete on very short runs with digital presses.”

APR is hosting the Gidue M5 17-inch UV press in its Glendale Heights, IL, tech center, and the press will be ready for customer demonstrations beginning October 13. APR is also offering technical support when needed to maximize the benefits seen from this revolutionary technology, including training and support for expanded-gamut printing.

APR is hosting, along with Gidue and their REVO partners, an Open House at its Glendale Heights facility on November 12-13. Live demonstrations of the M5 press will be presented, along with other technologies.
